Ms. Cid's Educational Philosophy
I believe
that the purpose of education is not simply to give information. In my opinion, education is much more than that. Our purpose
as educators should be to enhance a students world. Now, more than ever, in the age of information, I feel it would be
a disservice to limit a student's learning to what we bring to the classroom, in our books, and in our lectures. We must show
them the world, of information, is now at their fingertips. Instead of teaching students our version of the truth our job
should be to inspire them to seek and interpret their findings in a way that will make them true students of life.
